overview

My work focuses on the understanding of the human condition set in various circumstances. The emphasis in my work is to portray the common experience with an attempt to offer an initiate view of the states of being associated with various existential situations. This quality is expressed thorough the search of the possible implications of a given and constructed scenarios, which are objectified in order to convey the bipolar quality of common experience.

“Miro Gabriel has a style I would not soon forget. There is something haunting about the faces beyond the curiously expressive lack of features. There is a play of good and evil, light within dark - a symbiosis of element which cannot exist without other. In the attempt to portray this, a certain drama is produced.”
