“If we follow our hearts and are committed to truth, we get to do what we are called to do in each lifetime. I heard and heeded the call in my early thirties after swimming vigorously against the current of my spirit in the business world. Although during the first part of my life my creativity did not go completely unnoticed, it certainly went unappreciated for the most part. “I have now managed to fashion the life of an artist and a counselor/art therapist on a full time basis. This makes me and my dog very contented much of the time. “My imagery has the breadth of the collective consciousness and unconsciousness with a balanced, decorative, lively surface. My work has been described as fresh, bold, whimsical, sophisticated, archetypical, unconscious, and colorful. My muses unceasingly surprise me with unending appearances of glyphs, strokes, textures, mediums and palette combinations. “I have been a practicing fine artist making and selling art for over 30 years. With a little luck I shall be painting when I draw my last breath.” |
