David Lancaster

overview
David Lancaster began making pictures in 1972 when he impulsively skipped school one day, bought a camera, lenses, a bunch of black and white film and started looking around. Since that day, David has been working as a professional photographer in New England, Europe and the American Southwest. He has photographed for corporations, advertising agencies, production companies and artists.
David’s journey into the realm of fine art began in the winter of 2003, upon the discovery of an amazing block of ice which opened his practice up to include abstract macro nature photography. When not lighting sets for film and television production, David remains focused on this art.
David’s work is held in several private and corporate collections.
All images are printed with Lightjet technology and on photographic paper of glossy or matte surface and signed by the artist.
