“All artists die but their art will last forever”—Enrique Manabat III

“Anything can be painted beautiful”—Enrique Manabat III

“Thank God I have this art talent otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do. I am very passionate about my cooking, gardening, and my art.

“I can only earn so much (SSA guidelines) so the rest will go to charity: 1. Wish Foundation (for my niece Sophie Manabat Gonzalez, cancer survivor) 2. United Way (for one of my best friends — Arley Hussin — the first kid I met in 1971 and a great musician, also a cancer survivor). Painting is also a great therapy for my 24/7 pain.

“And painting to me is a “Constant Learning—Experimenting Process”. It’s so much fun and the feeling of achievement is a natural high.

“Early 2010 is when I started to paint a lot and can’t stop.

“I will paint anything my heart and soul desire. My attitude towards painting is that anything I will make it look unique my way to the best of my God-given talent and to the best of my ability even if it takes forever.”

Enrique Manabat III, was born in Tarlac, Tarlac Philippines, to parents Dr. Enrique Manabat Jr. and Dr. Milagros Manabat D.D.S. They moved to the USA and settled in Green Bay, Wisconsin — his father said he chose Green Bay because he loves the Packers — but Manabat has also lived in Florida, Nevada, and Illinois. His paintings are part of public and private collections across the country, having been sold locally, nationally, and internationally.

He’s proud to be an American citizen.

His education includes attending the University Of Wisconsin Green Bay (studied under Clarence Cole - beginners oil painting), 1 semester 1977, and the American Academy Of Arts Chicago, IL, 1 semester 1976.

He’s had back problems since 1988 (he saw the “Light”: he experienced paralysis for nearly a week and had extensive rehab in 1988 with 2 blown discs, and was able to walk again). M.R.I. results in March 2007, 9 herniated/degenerative discs.

Manabat worked professionally as sales manager, closer, trainer, general manager and finance manager. Due to his back problems, his last day of work was 12/07 and disability was approved 12/08.

“Thank God I have this art talent otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do. I am very passionate about my cooking, gardening, and my art.
