Phyllis Miller
about the artist
Formally educated at the Art Center College of Design in California, Phyllis Miller was a technical illustrator, drafting for the US Navy during the Vietnam Era (1973-1977). She was subsequently a consultant in private practice, based in New York but serving clientele nationwide, in the area of art investments and real estate.
Her piece “My Valley” won the 2009 VA Art competition, and her work has been seen at the gallery of Los Angeles City Hall.
She is currently running the Meroe Artist Group, LLC, a consulting art project specializing in providing fine art for the commercial business market. She is also very active in her community, as a member of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce and American Legion Post #322; she also recently donated her time and talent for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ventura, California.
