I saw a quote from Independent film maker Jim Jarmusch that I completely identify with: He said: “Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, streets signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadow. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work will be authentic.”
My work is a collage of ideas, thoughts, moods, memories, technology, textures and colors. I am inspired by other artists, places and random images. I create always with music. I can’t create without music. It keeps my creativity flowing. My work is a combination of traditional media and digital. I combine both worlds in Photoshop. Photoshop is my main tool, but I use other software like Illustrator, Corel Painter and C4D for my 3D elements. For traditional media I use watercolors, ink and pencil sketches. I constantly evolve and adapt to new media, software and graphic trends but always keeping true to myself.
I have compiled hundreds of digital works of art for my personal website .

about the artist
I am a digital artist from the Hudson Valley area of New York. I had early training in the arts starting as a young girl and continued that training years later through Sessions Online School of Design where I enrolled in the Master’s Certificate Program in Design with concentration in Web Design, Graphic Design and Multimedia. This is where I learned to apply my love of art in the world of technology. I have been working on projects in graphic design for app developers, web designers and business branding and logos for the past 10 years. During this time I have never stopped creating for the sake of creating. I have compiled hundreds of digital works of art for my personal website . My work has been featured in wallpaper apps, online art blogs. I have also created hundreds of custom art brushes for photoshop. They are unique in that they are high in detail and have been featured in UK’s Digital Artist magazine and a book by Susannah Hall “Best Digital Brushes for Photoshop”. I use many of my custom created brushes for my work.
The biggest step forward in my art career would have been joining the DeviantArt community where I have met other artists and clients from around the world. My work has been exposed to all corners of the world and I have been inspired by artists from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Australia. I am the owner and moderator of a group called PhotoshopNation with over 2,000 members. It has been a wonderful experience being a part of this art community and networking with so many talented artists from around the world.
In 2010 I was confronted with one of my most difficult obstacles when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During this time it was challenging to find the time and strength to continue creating but it kept me going on some of the more darker days. This experience has made me stronger and made me appreciate each day I have to explore my creativity.
